My name is Steven Browne and I am in my second semester of the BEST Teacher Certification program at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. I am scheduled to graduate with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education in January, 2016. My goal is to teach Elementary School in either Frederick or Carroll County, Maryland.
I am currently interning in a kindergarten class at Parr's Ridge Elementary School in Mt. Airy, MD. I love being surrounded by enthusiastic young learners, and I look forward to the days I spend with the kindergarteners. However, I am eager to teach children some of the higher order academic skills that are beyond the kindergarten curriculum, and in my professional life I anticipate teaching either 4th or 5th grade.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, making music, gardening, and sharing a 250 year-old house with my wife and our eight cats.
